Association to Benefit Children

Association to Benefit Children (A.B.C.) protects and assists vulnerable children in East Harlem, many with mental and physical disabilities. Its early-childhood programs, which combine therapeutic mental health services with all-day education and other intensive supports, now prepare close to 400 disadvantaged children a year to succeed in school.

Robin Hood was a key supporter in the building of its Echo Park children and family center. In addition to its early-childhood education center, this 27,000-square-foot facility operates a mobile mental health clinic, weekend mentoring programs, a summer day camp and more.
