	You qualify for free tax assistance if:
	•	You have children and a household income of less than $40,000
	•	You have no children and have a household income less than $20,000
	What you need to bring with you:
	•	Social security cards (or Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers) for everyone in your family
	•	Dates of birth for everyone in your family
	•	W-2 forms from all jobs you (and your spouse, if applicable) held in 2005
	•	All other tax-related documents such as 1099-INT forms and 1099-G forms
	•	Your spouse, if you are filing taxes jointly with a spouse
	•	A sample check if you want direct deposit of your refund
	The following are the locations of free tax preparation sites. To locate additional sites throughout New York City, call 311 and ask for an operator who speaks your language.
	Most E.I.T.C. sites are open from January 19 through April 17, 2009, except where otherwise noted in the site’s days and hours of operation.
