Hundreds gather to learn from industry titans, contribute to nearly $60 million raised for NYC
This week, we wrapped up the J.P. Morgan / Robin Hood Investors Conference – where the top minds in investing, policy, and tech gathered to share their insights on our world’s most pressing challenges. But attendees didn’t just get to learn from industry titans. Because all proceeds fund poverty-fighting programs, they also contributed to making New York City the engine of opportunity we know it can be: where zip code is not destiny and where everyone can thrive. With $58 million raised since the conference started 11 years ago, that’s a vision that we are closer to making a reality. Thank you to all who joined and made this event possible. Thank you for being Robin Hood!

Robin Hood CEO, Richard Buery, and New York Housing Conference Executive Director, Rachel Fee, joined to share how we’re working with our grantee and government partners to solve this crisis.
- The New York Times delved into the debate over free preschool and highlighted our most recent Poverty Tracker report, “3-K for All,” which illustrates the role accessible early childhood education plays in empowering mothers and driving economic growth.
- The Robin Hood Learning + Technology Fund set its sights on CITE — CUNY’s Computing Integrated Teacher Education program — to prepare educators for computational thinking in NYC’s public schools.
- With 2-in-3 Black and Latinx NYC students lacking reading proficiency, Robin Hood is collaborating with Mayor Adams and grantees like EL Education in the $100 million “NYC Reads” initiative to enhance literacy programs and put students on the path towards success.
