Management Acceleration

Three people sitting at a shared desk collaborating with notebooks and computers.

Poverty-fighting nonprofits like those Robin Hood funds are essential to their communities, but they often lack the resources and tools required to optimize and amplify their impact. Robin Hood’s Management Acceleration team collaborates with our grantees on key decisions and helps them build their networks, develop skills, fund capacity-building projects, and scale effective, sustainable programs.

Our Strategy

We provide consultancy services to help our grantees build and scale. Our support is offered through:

  • Strategic Consulting and Grants: We advise or connect our grantees to pro bono and/or paid consultants for capacity building projects including strategy, human capital, DEI, fundraising, communications, financial planning, and technology.
  • Community of Practice and Convenings: We respond to our grantees’ shared challenges and create opportunities by creating community of practices and convenings that promote discussion, collaboration, and actionable next steps.
  • Leadership Development: We facilitate leadership development programs and peer learning groups for executive directors, development directors, chief human capital officers, senior, and middle management.
  • Board Matching Program: We connect our grantees to talented, experienced professionals interested in dedicating their time, finances, and skills through non-profit board service.
